The Equipment & Technology Innovation Awards were launched five years ago by the Home Office Scientific Development Branch and the Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers to provide a showcase for ground-breaking innovations which have been devised in the security sector.
The 2009 Equipment and Innovation Technology Awards were presented at the HOSDB Dinner which was held on Wednesday 4th March, 2009, in the salubrious surroundings of the Officers Mess at RAF Halton.
The level of entries for 2009 awards was extremely high and the panel of six judges were given the challenging task of making a final decision.
