Membership
To join The Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers (APPSS) and/or The Defence Manufacturers Association (DMA), your company must demonstrate compliance with the following criteria:
- Trade in the UK in the Defence, Homeland Defence, Police or Public Security Industries.
- Provide in the UK – either directly, indirectly or potentially – a material development, manufacturing, service provision or consultancy capability to the Defence, Homeland Defence, Police or Public Security Industries.
- Government Agencies may become Members providing they have or can demonstrate that they expect to have in the near future, Trading Fund status.
- Must not act in any way as to bring the name of the DMA and/or APPSS into disrepute. Membership may be terminated should this occur. Examples of such might include, but are not limited to:
- Contravention of export licensing regulations
- Directly or indirectly discrediting the DMA and/or APPSS
