The London 2012 Olympic Games run from Friday 27 July 2012 to Sunday 12 August 2012
The London 2012 Paralympic Games run from Wednesday 29 August to Sunday 9 September 2012.

Technology freeze
A date of 2010 has been set as the freeze date by which LOCOG and the ODA will consider implementing the latest technology. This is to ensure that technology used in the Games is robust and has been subject to rigorous testing.
Milestones
The ODA has published its milestones to Summer 2008 called Demolish, Dig, Design and this document contains helpful information with regard to the timetable and how work and contracts will flow. For further information click here.
