Utilisation of existing strategies
It is likely that in developing the security strategy for 2012 the following projects will be utilised or adapted:
- Project Griffin - This counter-terrorist project was initially developed for London, but is now being embraced throughout the UK. Many members participate in the scheme through training their security officers to assist the police in the event of a major incident.
- Project Rainbow - This is a detailed anti-terrorist strategy which includes the use of CCTV and other technologies.
